1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Dir Connect at dirconnect.dir.et, operated by DIR Innovation (“we”, “us”). By signing in or using Dir Connect, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. The service
Dir Connect is a Tech Provider workspace that lets authorized users of an organization:
- Connect Facebook Pages and Instagram Business/Creator accounts they manage.
- Upload creatives, run internal approval, schedule and publish content.
- Go live to connected destinations and moderate engagement.
- Boost their own posts and view performance analytics.
- Use public Instagram topic/hashtag insights where enabled (subject to Meta platform rules).
Features may change as we ship updates. Some capabilities depend on Meta (or other platform) APIs remaining available and on permissions Meta grants your app and users.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must have a valid Dir Connect (or Dir) account issued for your organization.
- You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Organization admins are responsible for inviting users and assigning roles/permissions appropriately.
4. Connected platforms
When you connect Meta or other networks, you authorize Dir Connect to act on those accounts using official OAuth and APIs, within the scopes you approve. You must only connect assets you have the right to manage. You remain responsible for content published, live sessions, boosts, and compliance with Meta Platform Terms, Instagram Platform Policy, advertising policies, and applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Dir Connect to spam, deceive, harass, or violate platform or local law.
- Attempt to access accounts or data you are not authorized to manage.
- Reverse engineer, abuse rate limits, or interfere with the service.
- Resell or scrape personal data obtained through Dir Connect for unrelated purposes.
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate Dir Connect (including delivering it to platforms you select). We do not claim ownership of your posts or creatives.
7. AI and analytics
Optional AI assistance and analytics features may generate suggestions or insights. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before publish. Public/competitive insights rely on platform APIs and may be incomplete or delayed.
8. Disclaimers
Dir Connect is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect sync with third-party platforms, or specific advertising or engagement outcomes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DIR Innovation and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of Dir Connect. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for Dir Connect in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if the service is provided without a separate fee).
10. Termination
You may stop using Dir Connect at any time and disconnect platform accounts under Integrations. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, security risk, or inactivity. After termination, we handle data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
